Carlson Harris Principles

PRINCIPLES

The Carlson family as well as their many long-term associates, are proud of the CH heritage and reputation.

Through years of working in the profession, they have developed a strong sense of what is right.

You can count on the Carlson Harris team to work hard to ensure that you not only get exactly what you want, but that you have a pleasant experience before groundbreaking, during building and after your project is completed.

Gary Carlson

Gary’s enthusiasm for building has never waned. From a teen working in the family business in Nebraska until today, you can tell he loves his work…and his clients love him!

His professionalism and experience in construction stem from solid training under the cultivation of two master craftsmen, his father and grandfather.

Serving in the Nebraska National Guard was his only venture away from construction. Upon completion of a six-year term of service, he returned to Nebraska to join his father and brother in the family company.

When Naples became his new home, Gary distinguished himself within the community with many years of dedicated service and contributions to charitable and civic associations.

Gary’s primary focus is now on business development and customer satisfaction. He maintains close and long-standing relationships with past clients and has assembled highly-qualified people to ensure the client’s confidence and satisfaction.

Chris Carlson

Chris, following in his father’s footsteps, started as a laborer for his dad while still in middle school.

Over the years Chris gained experience and progressed through the positions of carpenter’s helper, carpenter, foreman and superintendent to his present position as President and head of Residential Construction.

Chris has had hands-on training and an extensive background in a wide variety of residential and commercial construction projects ranging from $100,000 to well over $10 million.

Known for his willingness to tackle any size project, he is an enthusiastic, energetic member of the company.

Ric Carlson

Ric grew up during the time when his dad had taken over the family construction business upon his grandfather’s death. When he reached an age that he could participate, he worked for his dad and along with his brother Gary.

Ric went on to attend Kearney State College in Kearney Nebraska, earning a BA in education, served six years in the Nebraska National Guard and also served as Madison County Tax Appraiser.

However, the family tradition of construction was in his blood – and during the time he owned and operated a paint and hardware store in Nebraska, he also took on many remodeling jobs.

In 1979, Ric joined the rest of the family in Naples, first working at Carlson Harris as a superintendent, then in estimating, project scheduling, and preliminary budgeting in addition to overseeing office operations and his duties as Corporate Secretary and Treasurer.
